Setting the Standard for Token Launches in web3
Openness, community support and transparency for projects and contributors across different stages.
Launch platforms play a crucial role in driving innovation by helping new projects secure funding. Yet, the design of many existing platforms lacks transparency, with an incentive model that doesn't fully benefit either users or the projects themselves. Users often find themselves with limited details about listed projects and no influence over which projects get listed. Furthermore, initial market caps and prices are frequently manipulated to guarantee profits for the platforms and early backers. Pre- sales, offering early access to prime projects, are typically reserved for those with insider connections, pertinent information, or assets that are of strategic value to the projects.
Citizend is designed to address these issues by creating a platform that prioritizes the interests of web3 projects and their communities. It stands as our solution to an increasingly concentrated space. We believe in the power of community-driven project curation and uphold that everyone deserves equal chances to succeed based on merit, guided by a one-person-one-vote principle. Citizend is built upon three foundational pillars, directing all our efforts towards bringing our vision to life.
Openness: At Citizend, any individual who can verify they're not a bot—referred to as a 'citizend'—has the right to vote for their preferred projects to secure a contribution slot on the platform. Any web3 project that meets our legal requirements and terms can be listed, relying solely on community support for fundraising.
Community: In our ecosystem, there are no second-tier citizends. Everyone supporting a successful project contributes under the same conditions, regardless of their background or the size of their holdings, fostering true equality of opportunity. When a project earns a spot in a batch, its funding is evenly divided between the People's pool and the Staker's pool. The maximum amount each person can contribute to the People's pool is set equally for all, based on the number of contributors who voted for the specific project. Meanwhile, access to the Staker's pool is reserved for citizends who demonstrate extra commitment to the platform by staking their tokens.
Transparency: Every important detail about projects and token generation events (TGEs) is transparently disclosed by the projects; nothing is concealed. Every citizend has the freedom to undertake further due diligence and research, and to share their findings with the community.
