The citizend platform adheres to all the needed compliance standards for KYC and AML, to ensure secure token launches for all parties involved. All projects listing in citizend will have to undergo a KYB procedure, and all users voting and contributing will have to conduct KYC, based on each project's requirements. All costs derived from KYC/AML checks will be covered by the citizend platform.

Fractal ID is the default identity verification provider of citizend, and will issue credentials to users that can be managed in a self-sovereign and privacy-preserving way, thanks to the idOS, the cross-chain decentralized identity layer of web3.
